The activity I did for my story portfolio was "Play Photo Finish"

There were once four men who lived in the same neighborhood, went to all the same schools as children, and hated eachother. They all grew up hating one another for reasons so ridiculous that hardly anyone remembered. Don, a small man who always wore a yellow colored vest and hiked his pants up above his belly button and had never looked as if he had aged a day, and Gene was a man who parted his hair down the middle and had a very big mouth. Gene hated Don because Don supposedly cheated Gene out of a bet on a game of cards as a young kid. Jim a tall thin man worked hard in everything he did and Stewart a short heavy set man with messy hair was always so lazy. Stewart always wanted Jim to do his homework in elementary school. Don didn't like Jim or Stewart because they were simply annoying to him and there was some other reason no one remembered. Jim didn't like Gene because his parents wanted Jim to be just like Gene. Jim didn't like Don because Don accused him of lying about a game at recess. Stewart was to lazy to even care about the rest of them. As they grew older they all moved to the same neighborhood in California not knowing that the other men lived in close proximity. All four of them got a job at a barber shop. When they all found out that they were working together they all were very angry and ignored eachother. The radio in the barber shop was always playing the four men's favorite songs. Soon they all found that they shared the same taste in music, this brought them all together and have never been seen angry at eachother since. They are always found singing together in the barber shop!
